THE CASE OF THE WEEPING SOUL

I want to tell you a story. I would write this story as a lesson to all of you. To protect his identity, I would call him S

THE CASE OF THE WEEPING SOUL

S was working part time in his father's shop, mending it until the clock strikes 4 in the evening. A tall adolescent guy wearing a red cap enters the shop. He smiled at S and walked straight behind S.

"Moved aside S, it's my shift now." He said. "Why don't you enjoy yourself and take a break. Go and watch those kids playing S4 League(an online shooter game)"

"Okay Ames." S smiled back.

S moved to the back, passing through the green divider that separates the counter from the computer booths. A cyber cafe would always be like any other cyber cafes. It would always be as loud as any other.

S was sitting at the corner, enjoying a shared-sort-of-thrill by watching the customers of his father's shop playing games on the computer and enjoying themselves. Bits by bits they were engulfed in the world of cybernetics and losing their grip on reality. Playing games enables them to let go of all their worldly troubles. Their homework, family and personal problems all gone in a blink of an eye.

As S was standing a midst the noisy crowd, he was approached by a boy about 4 inches taller than him and having a strong built body. The boy approaches him with a smile and looked at him as if inspecting him from top to bottom. He sneered at S.

"Hey, your the owner's son right?" He asked

"Yea."

"Could you show me where's the toilet?"

"Umm" S hesitated. "It's at the back room, through that door but only authorized personnel allowed."

"Nevermind," The guy responded "How about you escort me to the back. That way, I could go to the toilet"

S heard no evil in his words and agreed to do so. That was his biggest mistake.

As soon as they reached in front of the door of the toilet, S was pushed inside. Before he could shout, his mouth was covered. What happened next was malicious and evil that only animals would have done as what John did.

S was too weak to fight and so he was a victim.

S was only 13. However, S was raped. A guy raped by a guy.

He was striped and forced to be a toy to John's pleasure.

After half an hour, S was left on the toilet floor. Soaked and destroyed by the tragedy that happened.

Till this day he have nightmares. However, S didn't blame all the gay guys out there. He just blamed John.

S is know a happy smiling teen but he still have nightmares about the incident. Nightmares that disturbs his sleep.

The lesson he wants to share is that if anyone have ever experienced this sort of thing, be strong. you're not alone so be strong...

P/S: Thanks S for letting me write this story.

♫ Stray Dog ♫

*A song I wrote on my own*

Verse 1:
I'm sitting here wishing you're at my side,
I'm holding tight the thought of you in my mind,
I look at my hands and I wish you were holding mine.

I remember your smile they were shining bright,
The way that you laugh makes me happy inside,
But now you're no longer here by my side.

And I wish things could stay,
But I know it's not safe for me,

C/O:
Like a Stray Dog I'll keep running,
I'll survive and keep on fighting,
I will never be in chain,
And I'll keep on playing my game.

I'll climb higher every moment,
Reaching for the skies up high,
Soon you will see it my way,
And you'll see your own mistakes.

Verse 2:
I hug myself thinking of that time,
When I was tortured by those so-called friends of mine,
And you just watched and left me there to die,

I cried my heart out pleading for help,
the tears of pain flowing through my vein,
The dread inside me would kill me instead.

And I hope you would help,
But you didn't reach your hand for me.

C/O:
Like a Stray Dog I'll keep running,
I'll survive and keep on fighting,
I will never be in chain,
And I'll keep on playing my game.

I'll climb higher every moment,
Reaching for the skies up high,
Soon you will see it my way,
And you'll see your own mistakes.

Bridge:
And that was long ago,
I'll forgive all your mistakes,
I hope that you can see my pain,
I hope that you could see my name.

I'm no longer alone,
Moving in packs I grew strong,
But I'll always remember your name,
The Stray Dog would win this game.

C/O:
Like a Stray Dog I'll keep running,
I'll survive and keep on fighting,
I will never be in chain,
And I'll keep on playing my game.

I'll climb higher every moment,
Reaching for the skies up high,
Soon you will see it my way,
And you'll see your own mistakes.

And maybe someday,
You could see,
A worthless Stray Dog like me....

Chapter 2(My 2nd novel): I knew you were trouble

I knew you were trouble

Ten more minutes.

Ten more minutes and it will all be over.

The clock at the top of the blackboard keeps ticking. Why is it taking so long?  Why does time seems to move slowly when I don’t want it to. Is this what they call Karma? No, I’m pretty sure Karma had nothing to do with time.

I can’t believe I’ve slept for an hour in class. Well, I did finish the pop quiz earlier than most of them. Of course AP statistics is hardly a challenge.

Heck even if I did finish it earlier, Mr. Robert didn’t seem happy about it.

It’s not my fault that I’m smart. Just because I’m smarter than most of his students, wouldn’t that make him at least a little bit proud to be my teacher? No.

All of the teachers have decided that I would be another one of those smarty brain brats that doesn’t respect their teachers.

My name is Jacob G. Alabaster and I’m a 10th grader.

Mr. Roberts was standing in front of his desk arms-crossed and looking directly at me. Another bad reason why I shouldn’t be sleeping in his class.

Why did I choose to sit at the front row? In front of the teacher’s desk to top that up. It’s all because I wanted to learn better. Once again, the teachers took it like a challenge on their superiority.

At least Mr. Robert is the nicest of all of them. He is actually a cool teacher outside of class.

Mr. Robert pulled his sleeve to look at his watch. He raised his eyebrows, obviously unsatisfied about something again as he swoop his black hair with his right hand.

He always wears sweaters and jeans no matter what the season. As cool of a teacher he is, that’s his only downside though people his age would consider him handsome. If you add up the fact that he’s a middle-aged guy then you would conclude that he have a mid-life crisis.

Mr. Robert sighed and he started moving. He is doing his usual checking-up routine. It’s this one thing where he’ll round the class, no big deal, to see who’ve finished and who haven’t except for the fact he’ll make sure that everyone finishes even if it took hours before picking up the papers.

I still remember this one time where he made us stayed in class for an additional two hours after school ended just so that one dud could finish his pop quiz.

Sometimes I wonder doesn’t he have a life?

I turn my head to my right towards the door. Through the glass of the old brown oak door, I could see 3 sets of eyes peeping through.

My friends were already here.

My heart is pounding hard just seeing them.

Mr. Robert suddenly cleared his throat. Louder than expected I suppose. Well, he must have spotted my friends outside.

“Despite the enthusiasm of celebrating someone’s birthday and also the loyalty of waiting for a friend,” Mr. Robert looks straight at me as he said those words. “I do not appreciate students spying on my class”

The class started to stifle a laugh. I lowered my head down so that no one could see my red face.

Mr. Robert always loves being the one in control. It somehow gave him contempt the way students would fear him. Don’t get me wrong, he is a great guy but it’s just that the students would know when not to cross him.

He stood in front of his desk again, arms still crossed. His nose twitches. That’s the sign. He would always twitch his nose if class is nearly over.

“All right students” his voice loud “Please submit your paper on the desk before you leave.”

I was the first to stand, impatient to get out of this place. I put my paper on the desk and rushed for the door.

My hand just touched the steel cold doorknob when Mr. Robert called me.

“Mr. Alabaster.” His voice startled me. I froze in my spot and turned around. “Happy Birthday.” He smiled at me.

I rushed outside to meet my friends but as soon as I stepped out, they were no longer there.

That was weird

Someone suddenly grabbed me by the back and held me tight. With another hand, he knuckled my hair.

He leaned himself closer to my ears and whispered, “Looking for us?”

I know that melodious soft voice anywhere. “Nick, come on man,” I said slipping his arms off me “That’s enough before people starts to question our sexuality”

He let go of me and bowed “Sir Nicholas Vasquez at your service B-Boy” He raised his head and I could see him grinning sheepishly.

Nick is a handsome guy is what girls would put it. He is a real life muscular hot Latino super model with spiky black hair and deep brown eyes that were so intent. He was wearing a plain grey T-shirt as if to show off his muscular body and a pair of blue jeans.

Unlike him, I am a scrawny lean guy, not skinny, and I would give anything to have some meat like Nick. My hair is also black but it is wavy in a kind of neat way that is longer on the frontal right side of my head and I have grey eyes. Don’t ask.

I've learned that people only have blue or brown eyes, and green sometimes but ever grey. My brother use to joke about it saying that our ancestors ware ghosts.

The Alabaster’s family trait.

“Where are the others?”I asked. I was sure that I saw the three of them here.

“Looking for us?” A girl spooked me from the back. I would have screamed halfway through my lungs if it weren't for Nick suddenly covering my mouth with his hand.

“Totally no one would ever question your sexuality Jake.” Sam giggled.

She was wearing her favorite Black shirt with ‘Death to Cheerleaders’ written in bold pink letters. Her shoulder length brown hair was kind of choppy and uneven and her blue eyes staring right at me.

Standing next to her was another friend of ours, Ryan. He’s the perfect kind of rich guy every girl would dream off. Those sexy Irish accent, handsome face, perfect white teeth, curly red hair and sparkling green eyes can easily sweep girls of their feet. Don’t get me started on his build. Though he’s nowhere close to Nick’s muscular figure, he still has more meat than I do.

Today he’s being modest by wearing a normal plain white T’s covered with his favorite green jacket and a pair of jeans.

He would normally wear expensive clothes. One of the benefits of being rich I suppose.

“Are we or are we not going to the diner?” Ryan asked. “Or rather are we going to stay here and questions everyone sexuality?”

“It’s not my fault I’m irresistible. People can’t stand my Latino heat” Nick teases.

Sam could no longer hold it as she let herself loose and laugh like her stomach was about to burst.

I grunted and turned around, “Fine, come on then” Nick joined me as Sam and Ryan both jogged behind us.

Chapter 1 (*2nd novel) And we all go down

And We All Go Down

Blood. Red hot blood splattered everywhere. The black cavern walls were smothered with the color blood. Footsteps could be heard approaching the cavern.

A lifeless body started to stand. His body aches like a million watts of lightning just surge through his vein. His robe was tattered and torn. His scythe was thrown halfway through the cave. He looked around towards his comrades lying lifeless on the floor, dying.

‘That’s funny’ he thought, ‘I’m supposed to be Death himself and yet here I am dying’

He looked at one of his comrades. An angel. Yup, a real life angel. White feathered wings sprouted from his back that would have been so beautiful if it were not battered and tainted with the color of blood. His muscular body was badly bruised even for his fast rate of regeneration the guy doubted he would survive.

Just then, the angel spoke. “Grim...” His voice was soft and melodious but yet there was a hint of pain in them.

“We’ve lost”

His brown eyes sparkled as he spoke those words. The Grim tried to reach his hand out to comfort the angel but to no avail he could not reach him.

“Hey, Raphael... I still got one more trick up my sleeves.” His voice coarse and broken that it sounded more like a whisper.

He looked around some more. What happened? No matter how hard he tried, he could only remember pieces of the battle.

There were four of them.

An angel, Raphael, a witch, Nakoda, a leprechaun, Patrick, and himself, Death, a Grim Reaper, Sebastian... They were sent to put an end to the mastermind behind all the chaos that had befallen upon the world itself.

A Fallen.

Lucifer...

Lucifer... Somehow that name made Sebastian stifle a laugh... For decades, the five of them, had been friends. One day it all changes. The land of Ether, a once peaceful land was suddenly plagued in darkness. A swarm of powerful dark magic engulfs the land. With that comes death. Famine strikes the land as a plagued of green thick fog engulfs it and ripped it of its riches. The citizens of Ether were left to starve and die. The five of them still sticks together no matter what happens.

Well, almost no matter what.

That all ended when the plagued took away the life of a wrong person.

Lucifer’s lover.

When Lucifer found out about her death, he went outrage.

He grew ferocious and started blaming people for her death.

He blamed the king for not trying to find the cure for the plagued. He blamed the medics for not being able to cure the victims. But most of all, he blamed Sebastian for taking her to the underworld.

He turned over to the dark side and led a war against the land that nearly tore Ether into two, literally. To put an end to his massacre, they were sent to stop him.

After months of a game of cat and  mouse, they’ve tracked him down at a place in the human world. A place called Seattle

The lead they have had led them into a black cavern that looks like a fissure beneath the earth. They underestimated him and were led straight into a trap. He had them where he wanted them. A dark and confined place. With one fast swoop, he managed to drop Nakoda and Patrick to their death. He then strikes down Raphael without any trouble and lastly, him..
The footsteps... They seemed closer. The sweet scent of roses filled the air but there was a hint of poisonous stench in it as the footsteps stopped in front of him.

Sebastian looked up and he could see a pair of black boots with metal spikes sticking out from the front and around the soles.  The owner of the boots leaned down to the same level of his face and smiled.

His long white hair falls down his shoulder. His purple colored eyes stared intently into him. There was no kindness in that smile of his.

Only bloodlust and hatred left.

He grabbed Sebastian by the collar and dragged him in the air. The pain in his body throbbing. He could sense that his death was near. He’d already suffered a major beating. Broken ribs, internal bleeding, and heart failure. Sebastian didn’t count the amount of cuts he’d have but he didn’t have to.

This is it.

“Well, well, Sebastian.” He whispered in Sebastian’s ears. “Checkmate.”

“What was that about you’ve got one more trick up your sleeve?” his smile changed into a sneer.

‘Those smile of his are becoming really annoying’ Sebastian thought.

He dragged Sebastian’s weak body and slammed it to the wall. Blood sputtered out of Sebastian’s mouth.

Drops of blood splattered on his face but he seemed to enjoy it.

Yes, this is what he wanted.

Revenge.

Revenge towards those people he once called friends.

He keeps on slamming Sebastian’s body to the cavern walls repeatedly but he could do nothing. He’s too weak. He’d only have one more hope in order to survive this.

A trick that might be able to kill Lucifer right here and now.

But for a price.

They would all die along with him.

‘They were already dead either way, so why not just risk it.’

Sebastian lowered his thought to his surroundings trying to seek out the amount of blood around.

Fortunately, there was more than enough of his own blood around to cast the spell.

He focused his thoughts deep into the underworld. He blocked out everything else. The pain of being slammed multiple times to the wall, the screams of his comrades, no, friends realization of what he was about to do.

He could sense the shocked in Lucifer’s face...

Lucifer kept on slamming the Grim’s body on the wall. The slamming got harder and harder every time. It was hard for Sebastian to focus but he must if he wanted to succeed.

The air became warm suddenly. The musty scent of rose and poison were replaced with a scent he was very well familiar with.

The rotting scent of the underworld.

The ground started to crumble as rays of blinding black light cuts through.

He did it.

“Death Temple” He murmured.

“You fool!!” Lucifer shouted “You’ll kill us all! For what? To protect this run-down world!”

Panicked filled the fallen but there was nothing he could do to stop the spell. It was already cast and beyond stopping.

“I’ll stop you even if it cost my life!” Sebastian responded confidently. Even though they were all said to be immortals, well there are ways to kill everything even an immortal.

This would kill them. But eventually, Lucifer will be back. He would be reborn. The Death Temple would just ensure that he would stay dead for a very long time.

Sebastian smiled.

‘My last stand’

“GRIM!!” Raphael shouted. It’s funny seeing that they’ve been friends for a very long time but Raphael had never called Sebastian by his name. “GRIM!! Se...Se... SEBASTIAN!!”

Sebastian startled

Nothing like moment of death to change people but it was nice knowing his friend accepted him finally.

The light flashes brighter cutting through everything even the darkness of the cavern. The ground finally collapsed. They all fell into the deep dark side of the underworld.

Raphael shouted something to him but all he could hear were the screams of tormented souls from below, their cold hands pulling them deeper into the oblivion.

Soon, they’ll be one of them.

At least for a million years.

He comfort himself with the very thought as they all plundered to their death.

My middle name means The Substitute

Hey there... For most of you out there you might have known about my other name but I'm here to right about my middle name: James.. It means the Supplanter.... The Substitute.. And in this tale, I bear that meaning quite well

Recently I've became close to a person... For me it's close XD. The person, let's call her/him S. S is a nice friend. However, it started when S's friend left for another school... I could positively say that they were close. REALLY CLOSE XD.. And I accpeted S's friendliness although it has its own rocky start.. In time we came close to each other but then in every time S would compare me to that old friend... Always comparing me with him.. I guess there's no telling that I'm actually sad about that XD

S is somewhat oblivious to his surrounding although S denies it. I guess that's why S could never tell when I was hurt or sad. Hmm.. But my middle name is James so I guess all along I was always meant to be just the Substitute XD. I wish I could change my destiny... I Don't Wanna be the Substitute... I want to be the real deal to you. I guess I was wrong..

:I won't tell S this but it does seems stupid of me to be jealous of this fact.... S  and that old friend had been friends since they were young but I've only known S for about 3 years.....

In the end I would just be a forgotten memory again. Another substitute till I'm no longer needed. I should be grateful to have a friend like S. I will be S's loyal friend till the time comes when I'm no longer needed as S's friend XD
Meow I love this drawing... no relevance to post

The Stray, The Cat and The Puppy...

As I gazed back at what had happen in my life, it just kept bringing me down, destroying me to pieces like shattered glass that couldn't be reassembled back no matter what type of glue they decided to use on me. I was left as an outcast my whole life. A True Stray Dog as they might say. No matter how much I tried showing kindness or reflecting happiness towards others, they would still see me as that dirty mutt.
But two person had effected me moving back her at my old turf..  They are a Cat and a Puppy and this is  the tale of how I met them and how they had helped me.

-The Stray and The Poodle

The first time I met her she was easily accepted by people unlike me. She had the ability to charm people but behind those soft paws and kind face of hers she hid a sharp claw and a fierce snarl for those who'd threaten her. She is just like a cat. The domestic kind that people could very easily be charmed by but at the same time could fool people for daring to cross her.

As a cat, it's natural for her to hate a stray like me. That happened for like a few weeks when we first met until I've learnt that the poodle was nothing more but the same as me. We have the same family background and she hid that fact really well by being herself where as I have to be an outcast to hid that fact. However, we clicked in the end and that was all I could say about that. We stayed friends for 7 years now. Even when I had to go on to another place, we would never lost contact of one another and would keep ourselves up to date. That's the story of how I met the Cat and this is how she had helped me after I had a rough patch in life;

She's a fierce feline. However, she's a fierce and caring feline

-She was one of the only friends I would trust with my secrets. In truth, she knows everything about me even about my past. She knew me so well to even tell when I'm sad whilst I was smiling in front of everyone. Whenever that happened, she would just be there to listen to me and advice me. When I'm doing something wrong then she would actually beat me up. She's a fierce feline. However, she's a fierce and caring feline.  It's a wonder how we'd ended up being friends since we're worlds apart but I'm glad we did.

-The Stray and The Puppy

Actually, I didn't remember when I had first met him but he does. One of his friends dragged him up to join a competition and it was an interview, more like a try out. It was a spelling competition try out and I was there being the one who checked everyone's fault. Sniffing their weaknesses like a true stray. XD I had nothing much to say about him cause he's a puppy. An annoying puppy. But little that he knows, his annoying attitude is what actually kept me going after I moved in and trying to forget that murky past of mine. Like the Cat, he knew a lot about me but I won't allow him to know everything. I still have my Stray pride.

He is an annoying little puppy. However, little does he knows that he makes me really happy

-He is an annoying little puppy. However, little does he knows that he makes me really happy. He kept on bugging me and we would sometimes had a brawl and arguments over petty things like who's right or wrong and who's smarter or not or ridiculous things like.... It's too ridiculous to mention. But sometimes I feared that he would remind me a lot of my old brothers rather than cheering me on. I tend not to get to close to him  but I feared that I would actually hurt him one day. I just hoped that no matter what I say or do, he would be there to keep on bugging me. I would love that actually.

That's a short post on them but I won't tell you guys who they are... Only they themselves knows that. XD But if they've known this then I would just want to apologize if I did anything. Soon enough, I would have to face my past and those who I wanted to forget again and at that moment, it would be nice if they're with me. XD

Life Under The Happy Mask

I  was a student from a boarding school and after a turn of event, I've decided to rejoin my old school.
I am a child of wrong conscience and I was never quiet understood by those of my age. I would always remember what had happened to me. The twist and turns and also the ups and down of a turn of event. I could never forget the betrayal of those I once called friends and I would never forgive.

Call me cruel but things that happened to me causes me to be like this.

Though I did move, I could never forget them. Trails of reminder remained in my life. Friends who looked the same as the old ones are also a reminder  of my dark and murky past. In this school I have tons of new friends and tons of fun along with some old friends. However, no matter how I tried turning my face from reality, I could never forget.

Unlike my friend, I could never forget easily

I somehow felt the different aspect of my lifestyle might had led to this. I could care a lot about someone but in the end I've always expected betrayal from them..

As painful as it is to me, I had to say

                                                           Good Bye...

He reminded me of my adopted brothers.
She reminded me of my girl,

And it's nothing but pain. Growing and throbbing in my heart like shredded paper torn ed up by the blades of remembrance.

I don't want that anymore....I want to be free... No matter how much they brought me happiness, I have to forget and let them all go. This is my resolution and this is my will.

Today, I will be free from the past. Thanks for everything you guys gave me but I gotta let go right? Haha
XD

Thanks Hakeem and Syafiq for everything. I had fn being your big bro but I gotta let go. XD
